PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am ambitious and creative, currently studying a degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising at Manchester Metropolitan University. I want to be challenged and start an exciting career in the fashion industry. My skills include blogging, social media, video editing, design, promotion, and photography, ability to use Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. Hugely passionate about creating content and styling. I have a unique style and approach to everything I do.

Crew Member – McDonald’s Denton, Manchester. June 2017- Present

Responsibilities:

•             Handling money and using the till

•             Providing good customer service

•             Cleaning kitchen, till and Drive Thu areas to maintain a spotless appearance

•             Working with a team in a fast paced environment on a busy retail park

•             Working towards my ‘stars’ modules of training in Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Operational excellence.

Editor and Writer – The Fashion Femme May 2017 – Present

I am a writer and content creator for my own personal fashion blog, The Fashion Femme to share my style point of view. It has a magazine style. Thefashionfemme.com 

Responsibilities:

•             Writing posts, Photographing garments and products and editing them.

•             Working on the design and layout of the site. I have learnt basic html skills.

•             Promoting the blog through social media.

•             Creating editorials with a magazine style.

• Volunteer during summer at Tameside Animal Shelter. Responsibilities include walking dogs and feeding animals, helping at annual summer fair.
